<p style="text-align: left;">The five-star resort on Samal Island made a splash on Earth Day by organizing a beach cleanup. In collaboration with the City Environment &amp; Natural Resources Office (CENRO), Discovery Samal participated in a Coastal Cleanup event at Samal Bay. Under the leadership of General Manager Stanley Lau, fifty dedicated employees worked together to collect eighteen bags of trash, helping to reduce the waste entering our oceans and its detrimental effects on the environment.</p>

Discovery Samal is committed to giving back to the community through various environmental initiatives while also promoting tourism. <p style="text-align: left;">Discovery Samal, a symbol of luxury and compassion, hosted a heartwarming event in partnership with the Our Lady of Victory Training Center (OLV) in November 2023. The event was a significant step in the resort&rsquo;s ongoing commitment to inclusivity and community support. The day kicked off with inspirational performances and activities focused on skill development and empowerment. Participants engaged in a painting session, allowing them to connect through their creativity and talent. Resort team members and local volunteers provided guidance and encouragement, creating a spirit of camaraderie and shared achievement.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">As a token of goodwill, Discovery Samal gifted Coco and Pearl bears to each participant, symbolizing the partnership and the spirit of the holiday season. Additionally, the resort committed to continued support through a fundraising event titled &ldquo;Holiday Bears for a Cause,&rdquo; where a portion of the proceeds benefited the training center, reinforcing its dedication to making a positive and lasting impact in the community.</p>
