Terms & Conditions
The hotel/resort assures that room rates booked directly on our website are the best rates available. Should you find a lower rate on another online site within twenty four (24) hours of making a booking with us, we will match that rate and apply a further 10% discount, subject to following terms and conditions:
- A confirmed reservation has been made on any of Discovery Hospitality Corporation’s hotel or resort website.
- The lower or competing rate from another website must be bookable to the general public and matches booking details, i.e. stay dates, room type and/or view, room rates and total room cost (including all taxes and service charge), number of guests, amenities, rate rules or booking conditions, pre-payment, deposits, non-refundable payment conditions, guarantee, cancellation and advance purchase policies. In addition, the competing rate must be verifiable during the claim process.
- Claim must be made within twenty four (24) hours after initial booking is made and at least forty eight (48) hours before scheduled arrival date for short lead bookings, with complete information on the claim form and received by the hotel’s/resort’s contact email.
- If the competing rate is due to foreign currency fluctuations, we reserve the right to deny the claim.
- The hotel’s/resort’s currency exchange rate will be used to calculate any competing rate offered in a different currency.
Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to:
- Any completed online reservation, whether Discovery properties’ IBE or third party booking site/source with competing rate, modified or cancelled within forty eight (48) hours prior to arrival date.
- Any reservation booked through other websites. Its cancellation and/or any booking fee incurred is the sole responsibility of the booker and not of the hotel or resort.
- Opaque or Packaged rates which include amenities other than offered by property’s BAR for the booked dates.
- Rates offered in flash sale and auction websites, such as but not limited to, Priceline, Hotwire, Groupon, whereby the hotel or resort is not disclosed until the reservation is completed and or until after payment is made for the reservation.
- Pre-paid rates that involve a voucher or certificate, both in physical and electronic forms.
- Offline or unpublished rates such as corporate, group, long stay, reward program, travel agencies, government, membership, and/or rates not available to the general public.
- Incidental charges that may be incurred during the stay. The Guarantee applies to the total room charge, including tax and service charge.
We have the sole right and discretion to determine the validity of any claim, in accordance with the terms and conditions, and the genuine availability of the competing rate.
Our decision is final in case of dispute.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Best Rate Guarantee – its terms and conditions, any time at our sole discretion.
