We hope that you and your loved ones have been doing well. Your health and safety are always in our prayers.
This Enhanced Community Quarantine period, we did our best to comply with the requirements of the government. We temporarily closed our resorts, hotels and restaurants from accepting reservations.
Indeed we are facing uncertain times ahead, but we believe that the Discovery family can rise above challenges as long we stay together. And we will come out stronger.
It is during these unprecedented times that culture of care is more vital. Our kitchens have stayed open to prepare packed meals every week to our families in the healthcare field. We have donated shampoos, soap and shower caps to various hospitals and we initiated a “Feed Our Heroes” program so we may continue to provide meals for our frontliners.
We overcame the Typhoon Ursula that hit Boracay last December 2019 and the Taal Volcano’s near eruption at the beginning of the year. In the face of this pandemic, our spirits remain unbroken and our smiles intact because we shall overcome this as well.
Despite operational challenges during the lockdown, the knowledge that we shall soon re-open and welcome you back pushes us to keep moving forward.
We feel blessed that no one from our staff was diagnosed with the virus or experienced any problems during the quarantine period. Moreover, we recognize and appreciate the sacrifices and hard work of our employees and frontliners who have shown commitment to us and to you.
